The Chinese say, "The seven necessities of life are firewood, rice, oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar and tea ." Tea is an indispensable daily necessity in traditional Chinese family life . Because Chinese medicine believes that tea is both medicine and food, and belongs to the category of " medicine and food have the same origin."

"Medicine and food have the same origin " is an important concept in traditional Chinese medicine , which emphasizes the goal of " preventing disease before it occurs " by regulating the body through daily diet . Therefore , Chinese medicine believes that " food supplements are better than medicine supplements " . Many foods can be used as food to maintain normal physiological functions of the human body, and they also have the effects of medicines, which can prevent or treat diseases.

This type of food is usually highly safe and has mild effects. It can be consumed for a long time without obvious side effects. It can help the body restore its balance , harmonize yin and yang , and promote the smooth flow of qi and blood. " Tea" is one of the classic examples of "medicine and food having the same origin".

The medicinal effects of tea have been recorded as early as the time of Shennong. The "Shennong Herbal Classic" records: "Shennong tasted hundreds of herbs and encountered 72 poisons one day. He found tea to detoxify them." That is , Shennong discovered the detoxifying effect of tea while tasting hundreds of herbs. So in Chinese history, tea was first regarded as a medicine.

The theory of the medicinal properties ofof tea are well documented in traditional Chinese medicine classics . Its medicinal effects include: clearing away heat and detoxifying, refreshing the mind, aiding digestion, promoting diuresis and detoxification, reducing inflammation and sterilizing , and regulating mood.

As time goes by, tea has gradually evolved into a daily drink, but its medicinal value has never been ignored . The health benefits of tea have also been confirmed by modern science.

For example , studies have found that tea polyphenols (mainly catechins) in tea leaves can be antioxidant, anti-inflammatory , antibacterial, and anti-cancer; caffeine can refresh the mind and enhance metabolism; theanine can calm the nerves and relieve anxiety; tea polysaccharides can lower blood sugar and enhance immunity; various minerals and vitamins can supplement the body 's essential nutrients and enhance immunity.

In other words, modern science has confirmed that the rich active ingredients and various nutrients in tea can indeed bring us a wide range of health benefits.

However , modern society generally pursues economic benefits, and fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and other chemical additives are often used in the planting and processing of tea . These chemical residues may cause discomfort to tea drinkers , including dizziness, stomachache, palpitations, insomnia, etc.

Cha Yuan believes that in order to restore people's health, we must return to traditional, organic planting methods, restore the purity and nutrition that tea should have had in history, and restore its timeless detoxification effect.

Cha Yuan tea comes from its own wild tea plantation in Wuyi Mountain, Fujian, China. It is located at the source of three rivers at the junction of three provinces, with an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters. No pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides, or animal fertilizers are used, but homemade enzymes are used to activate the soil. Therefore, the ecological environment of the tea trees in the tea mountain is very healthy, and the ground and tree trunks are covered with moss. In addition, the tea mountains in Cha Yuan are composed of gravel soil, so the tea trees absorb a lot of vitamins and minerals in the soil.

Another major feature of Cha Yuan is that it can independently produce six types of tea: green, white, yellow, blue, red, and black. In particular, in the tea-making process, Cha Yuan treats the six types of tea as living solid enzymes and follows traditional techniques, such as using sunlight withering and firewood drying, to combine the essence of heaven and earth and effectively remove factors and coldness that are unfavorable to modern human health.

Therefore, Cha Yuan Tea retains the characteristics of various types of tea while maintaining the balance of Yin, Yang and the Five Elements. In modern scientific terms, it retains lots of nutrients needed by the human body, including at least 12 types of enzymes, 12 probiotics, 13 trace elements, 16 vitamins, and 20 amino acids, etc. Currently, we can only find these comprehensive nutrients in wild ginseng.

The Chinese talk about the Five Elements, which correspond to the five colors and the five internal organs. The same is true for tea , whose different colors correspond to different meridians in our body. Green tea belongs to wood and enters the liver meridian; white tea belongs to gold and enters the lung meridian; yellow tea belongs to earth and enters the stomach meridian; oolong tea belongs to earth and enters the spleen meridian; black tea belongs to fire and enters the heart meridian; and dark tea belongs to water and enters the kidney meridian.

Modern scientific research has also confirmed this. For example, the paper published by the team of Fudan University in Shanghai in 2023, " Infrared Imageries of Human Body Activated by Tea Match the Hypothesis of Meridian System" , proved the stimulating effect of tea on the meridians by letting volunteers drink different types of tea and using infrared thermal imaging technology to observe the temperature changes of different parts of the human body after drinking tea.

According to Chinese medicine theory, the medicinal properties of tea can act on specific meridians, regulate the circulation of qi and blood, and balance yin and yang. The above studies show that different types of tea do correspond to different meridians and can activate different organs. However, due to the complex physical conditions of modern people, single-origin tea may not be so comprehensive, so Cha Yuan's specially formulated tea came into being.

Cha Yuan's formula tea is based on the principle of the mutual generation of the five elements, with aged tea as the main ingredient, supplemented by green tea, white tea, yellow tea, oolong tea, black tea, and dark tea with various fermentation levels, so that the Five Elements of tea can be unified and the Yin and Yang can be harmonized. It can automatically harmonize the Yin and Yang of the human body, balance the body's metabolic balance, restore the body's acid-base balance, and maintain physical and mental health. Many of our customers have personally witnessed the health benefits of Cha Yuan Tea.

The reason why Chinese civilization has been able to survive for five thousand years is because it is a culture that emphasizes being human-oriented and the unity of heaven, earth and man. When we return to the original state of human nature from the land, planting, processing and other processes, and make the tea we operate a truly "organic" product that is in harmony with nature and man, that is, a product with " living mechanism and vitality ", we are adhering to the innate nature of kindness in our hearts.

Cha Yuan tea is not only pure and nutritious, but also fully reflects the unique aroma, taste and detoxification effects of various types of tea, allowing everyone to enjoy a better life while returning to a traditional healthy lifestyle, leading people to unconsciously return to the right path of traditional culture in their daily lives.
